Religious Freedom
Amendment
To secure the people’s right to acknowledge God:
Section 1. The
right to pray or to acknowledge religious belief, heritage, or tradition on public property shall not be infringed.
Section
2. Neither the United States nor any State shall compel joining in prayer or shall initiate or
compose prayers.
Section 3. Nothing in this Constitution shall be construed
to discriminate against, or deny a benefit to, any person or group on account of religion.
Section 4.
The exercise, by the people, of any freedoms under the First Amendment or under this Amendment shall not constitute
an establishment of religion.
