University of Texas at San Antonio President Ricardo Romo is this month’s recipient of "The Cup of Wrath" for permitting an atheist student group to hold a "Bibles for Pornography" week at his university.

A small group of atheists sought permission and received the blessings of the University to advertise an campus-wide effort to convince students to turn in their Bible or other religious texts in return for pornographic

Melissa Hussain, an eighth-grade science teacher at West Lake Middle School in Apex North Carolina is the month’s recipient of the “Cup of Wrath.”

Hussain attacked her students on her personal Facebook page accusing her 13 and 14 year old students of committing a “hate crime” when they anonymously left a Bible on her desk.  Hussain also bragged on the social networking site that she “was able to shame” her students over the incident.

A student left the Bible on Hussain’s desk along with a note wishing the teacher “Merry Christmas” with “Christ” underlined.  In response, Hussain wrote on her Facebook page “I can’t believe the cruelty and ignorance of people sometimes.”

Hussain also reportedly threw a religious postcard a student gave her in the trash, attacked students for reading the Bible during their free time and for wearing religious-themed clothing.

For attacking and ridiculing her students beliefs and making a mockery of the noble profession of teaching, Melissa Hussain deserves a full draught from the “Cup of Wrath.”   

This month’s Cup of Wrath is bestowed on Air Force Academy Superindent Lt. General Michael Gould for his ridiculous statements about Christianity and the placement of a cross at the site of Wiccan and other pagan ceremonies on the academy’s grounds.

Recently someone placed a simple wooden cross at the “Wiccan Chapel,”  a circle of rocks in the woods at the Air Force Academy.  Gould reacted angrily and issued a scathing public statement saying ”We absolutely will not stand for this type of destructive behavior. I consider this no different than someone writing graffiti on the Cadet Chapel.”

For comparing the mere appearance of a cross as vandalism, for labeling anyone who displays or evn wears a cross while near a pagan alter as perpetrators of hate crimes and for making the United States Air Force Academy the laughingstock of the nation, Lt. General Michael Gould has earned himself a draught from the Cup of Wrath.

January’s recipient of In God We Trust’s “Cup of Wrath” is MSNBC “reporter” David Shuster for attacking Fox News commentator Britt Hume for talking about his Christian Faith.

Shuster went on an on-air tirade against comments Hume made suggesting that golfer Tiger Woods would benefit from converting to Christianity.   Shuster mocked Hume’s

When confronted by commentator Pat Buchanan, a guest on Shuster’s show, Mr. Shuster reiterated his belief that discussions of religion or faith should be banned from political talk shows.  Shuster declared, “I do think it diminishes the discussion of Christianity....This wasn’t the ‘700 Club,’ this wasn’t ‘Theocracy Today.’”

 For wishing to ban even the discussion of Christianity from political commentary and for making a fool of himself, David Shuster has earned himself a full draught from the Cup of Wrath.
